Important Eligibility Information:

To be eligible to compete as an at-large, local or state participant for either Miss America or  Miss America’s Teen in September 2026, you must: be a female, meet the age criteria as shown below, be living full-time as a resident of your state, or employed full-time in person, or enrolled full-time as a student at an accredited school/college.

Miss America 18-28: must be NO OLDER than 28 on September 30, 2026, and no younger than 18 on Sept 1, 2026.

Miss America’s Teen 14-18: must be no YOUNGER than 14 by September 1 and no older than 18 on Sept 30, 2026.

Miss Division: Aged 18-28

Teen Division: Aged 14 - 18

Teen Age Criteria- Additional Notes:

Miss America HQ allows the option for 18-year-old contestants to have a ‘pivot’ year to decide whether they would like to compete in the Teen or Miss divisions.Additionally, once an 18-year-old decides on the division she may compete in, she may not change divisions until the next cycle. Please proceed to your applicable State online application.

Membership Details:

Club America membership is $49.99 per year and will automatically renew annually unless you cancel. All payments are processed securely with bank-level encryption to protect your information.

Additional Notes for Teen Applicants:

If you select the Teen Division, you’ll see a few extra questions. Be sure to indicate whether the contestant is 17 or younger— this ensures the correct delegate agreement is sent to the applicant and/or their parent or guardian.

Pay the Miss America Membership Subscription of $49.99 & Sign the Delegate Agreement

If you have already Paid your Subscription Fee and Signed the Delegate Agreement, scroll down and proceed to Step 21 and the Local Pageant Registration page.

Step 1. Start on https://www.club.missamerica.org/ma-membership

Step 2. Select Oklahoma from the dropdown

Step 3: Indicate which Division you wish to compete in. Note that once you join a division, you are required to stay in that division until the competition year is complete. You cannot switch divisions once you have designated which division you are joining. 

Miss Division: Aged 18-28

Teen Division: Aged 14 - 18

Step 4: Important: Insert actual information into each field. If a space requires a delegate's name, phone or email, provide that information. If a space requires the Parent's name, phone or email, provide that information accordingly. Do not insert a parent's details into a space that requests the delegate's information. 

Important: Your indication of the division in which your delegate wishes to compete (Miss or Teen) and the designation of whether your delegate is 17 years of age and under will ensure that you receive the correct Delegate agreement. 

Step 5: Membership to the Miss America Opportunity is subscription-based and is $49.99 a year and renews annually on your anniversary. To cancel your membership at any time, email our national office at ryan@missamerica.org. 

Step 6: Click to approve receiving important information and updates. Be the first to get the scoop about everything Miss America! 

Press submit, and you will be automatically transferred to the online Delegate agreement to complete in this same sitting. You have to submit the payment and Delegate Agreement in the same sitting. 

Step 7: Please read carefully as there is important information that will help you complete the process with ease! 

Step 8: For your convenience, you are also able to download step-by-step instructions fr completing the Miss America Delegate agreement by clicking the Download Button mid-page. 

Step 9: Save to your desktop, print and review before starting. 

Step 10: As you proceed, you will need to indicate the Delegate's name (first and last) and an email address. IMPORTANT: This email must be the same email in which you used when you paid for your membership. Do Not Change emails! If your completing the Delegate agreement for a Teen minor, this email here will be the same parent's email on the first membership transaction page. If you are an 18 year old competing in the teen division for your "pivot" year or if your an adult competing in the Miss division, then please use the your email which was also used on the membership transaction age. Do not change your email address.

Step 11: Start by clicking the "Start filling out" blue button at the very top

Step 12: The system should populate your unique ID #, however if it does not, please insert your delegate's first and last name in that space.

Step 13: Insert the applicable information into the spaces that are labeled Fill In.

Step 14: Read carefully. Ensuring that that information is accurate.

Step 15: On the signature page, the delegate's name is pre-populated. The Miss delegate or the Teen's parent will be required to finish and sign this section of this page.

Step 16: Continue by pressing The Orange  "Next" Button on the Left side of the page.

Step 17: Carefully review each exhibit in the fill in spaces labeled in blue. 

Step 18: Follow the prompts-you are almost there!!

Step 19: IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

For Exhibit C, which outlines the supporting documents required to verify your eligibility, you must provide a public download link in the space provided at the bottom of the page.

Upload your documents to an online folder using a file-sharing service of your choice (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive, WeTransfer, Hightail), and generate a public link to that folder. Paste that public link into Exhibit C. Do not email these sensitive documents to pageant officials.

Step 20: Click "Finish" and you are done with STEP 2 of your onboarding process!

Congratulations you have completed the Delegate Agreement! 

Step 21: After completing the Delegate Agreement, you will be automatically directed to the Local Pageant Registration page. You may save this page’s URL for future use, as it will be your access point for registering in current and upcoming local pageant competitions. This page also includes a video instruction guide to help you through the process of signing up for your first local pageant.

Step 22: Scroll down to Oklahoma

Step 23: Indicate the division in which you are competing. (Miss or Teen) 

Step 24: Locate our local pageant, which is currently labeled: Miss Lincoln County/Stroud  (Will change to Route 66 / Stroud) 

Step 25: Follow the prompts to upload a photo of yourself. Once you complete the remaining steps, your registration will be submitted to both your local and state programs.
